The Requirement

Build lightweight, pre-finished, easily-installed arch elements and keep the cost below budget.

The Challenge

Each arch is comprised of two equal-sized pieces. Each piece, each half-arch, was to be six-inches thick; five-feet wide and eight-feet long.

Graphics were preprinted on 2-mil EVPC and had to be registered perfectly.

The Solution

  1. LamLite engineered the arches as one piece
  2. In production, LamLite registered the graphics.
  3. Suspension points of all the arches were predetermined. This allowed for field-layout before the arches arrived.
  4. No field application of graphics was required.
  5. There are four connection points per arch. All connection points are minimally exposed.
  6. Each half-arch weighs less than 50 pounds.
